I have done business with hundreds of Companies / Business over the years, some good, some not..

GREEN  A place with knowledgeable, experienced friendly employees that know how to treat a customer, and reasonably priced.

ORANGE  May not know but they try. Or they know but no time to help.

YELLOW More than one problem,  bad tech-support, no return calls, poor business practice, too much going on with not enough help.  May or may not buy again.

RED  serious problems needs big improvements. 

BEWARE

This is based on experiences my wife, family, and myself have had, in hope that others can have a pleasurable shopping experience.  Hope the RED changes, and find their way to good business. 

Other colors may come as list grows, and to be fair.

To all sales persons.  Remember you are a customer to someone so treat as you would want to be treated.  But also remember  no one is perfect, and you don't know what problems one may have in their life.  Everyone deserves a chance, but if it continues then say something.

Maptech support not so good.  The product is good, but trying to call for an unlock code or tech-support.  I have been trying for three weeks and still not up and running.  I have been on hold for so long I was put into voice mail at 3-4 times a week.  I have left a number of messages and return numbers and still nothing.  I was lucky one day after 28 mins on hold I was told their system was down and to call back later.  Lucky for me I have Nobeltec.  If I hadn't I would have had no computer system for navigation.  To date 08-25-08 no Maptech.    Now Sept 5th and still not working.  Remember this started the third of Aug. and no return calls     Update Sept 25th 08 and still not running, and no return calls. Well here it is July 2010 and after me calling and leaving massages still no return call.  This isn't me, I only call them about once every 3-4 months to help fix the problem that I've had since 2008..

Herrington & Son Tree Service.  West Haven to Old Saybrook.   Lic, Ins. safe, clean and fast.

FRIGIDAIRE Pro Ser. Stove, and SERVICE DEPT  SUCK......We bought a new Frigidaire stove, and after it took Lowe's 4 weeks to deliverer the right one it then stopped working within the first week.  The fun begins.  Calling the Frigidaire service dept, and being switched three times, ending up back at the first person. I then had to try explaining the problem to a non-English speaking person.  4 days later it was fixed..        Round 2..  The stove is now 3 months old and it stopped working again 8 days before xmas.  Service told me to light the stove with a match.  It's now xmas and still lighting my $1000, 3 month old stove with a match with no idea when service is coming.  They are waiting for parts.      01-09 Stove fixed again for the 2nd time.      OPPs round 3 stove stopped working again just 2 weeks after being fixed for the 2nd time.  This is now 3 times.  waiting for parts again.  Service tech doesn't listen to me.  It is a over heat problem.  When I use the oven it sets off the auto lighter on the burners.  It is the oven causing the problem with the burners.  The oven is heating up the auto lighter for the burners.  But what do I know?  I know I bought a piece of shit stove.     FRIGIDAIRE/ELECTROLUX...

 

 

HEIL heating & air conditioning :::  Had a new complete gas furnaces and air conditioner  installed in March 2007.  Winter 2007 needed another thermostat. Installed new thermostat all is good.  Winter 2008 no heat, needed service tech, $150 all fixed.  Early 2009 heat is on, and on, and on, will not turn off, another thermostat, $180, again all is good.  June 2010 air conditioner not working, Service call $190 air needed charging.  First week in July 2010 air conditioner stops working again, service tech comes out, need transformer part not in stock must order.  This was on Thursday 8th, was told Tuesday 13th will be in.  Wed 14th no part, told next Tuesday 20th. still no part was told next Tuesday 27th.  Wed, 28th received a call no part back ordered no date.  29th July called HEIL was told they would check into it and will get back to me within 3 to 5 days and if not for me to call back.  I WILL NEVER BUY HEIL AGAIN, NOR EVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. The system is less then 3 years old had a problem every year and in 95% summer no air, and still not working.
